Climbing Adventures
Climbing for me is a great way to spend time outdoors,
relax with friends yet have an objective and challenge to tackle.
I am also afraid of heights and thus climbing has a special place in my
heart, or should I say pit of my stomach. I love to face my fears
and climbing gives me that adrenaline rush of accomplishment. I
have had opportunity to make several climbing trips. Most only
last for a day or two but I have recorded most of these times through
photos.

| This
July 4th Jonathan, Emily, Hillary, Cathy, Chris, Andy and Jenny
joined me for some great climbing to celebrate our independence
day. |
I
took Jonathan, Emily, Aaron and Angie for their first time climbing
on real rock. Andy and Jennie met us at the gorge. |

This was my second time to climb in Southern IL. It was a
great time, I climbed my first outdoor 5.10 and also had a nice
fall that scrapped up by back. (John H, Carmalena, Kara, Daniel
Hess, Eric Fritz, Val Kissack, Jenn Johnson, and Raquel. |
First
Climb of this year. Went out with Andy P. on the first day then
took my brother and a couple of his college friends for the second
day. Great fun, but I realize I need a lot of work at the gym to
get my streignth up. |

This trip was over my birthday weekend. Several of my friends
from Chicago (Kara, Val Kissack, Jenn Johnson, Eric Fritz, and Daniel
Hess) help me celebrate on a side of a cliff. |
Josh, Sandy, and Tim joined me on a trip to the Red for a cold but
fun weekend. |
